How to copy a finalized small recorded disk from my handycam to a regular sized dvd disk?

I have the small dvd-rw disks that I use to record movies in my Handycam camcorder. I have finalized the disks so that I can watch them in my regular dvd player or my computer dvd drive. I am trying to figure out how I can make a copy of these movies on the small disk to a regular sized dvd player so that I can send videos of my kids to my family. Im not sure if I can only do this if I had recorded on the internal memory or a memory stick or there is someway that I can take the small disk and burn a copy of it to a regular sized dvd disk. I am very confused and not that great with this type of thing so I hope someone out there knows what I am trying to say and will be able to help me in simple terms that I will be able to understand.. thanks!
