Im having editing issues with my FCP and my sony hdr-cx700v?

i had a similar problem with a different camera but it was made by sony. I downloaded a .mp4 to .mov file converter and it works just fine. even better than I expected. U should try it. PAV TUBE is the one I got. It was like $25 but it kept my clips the same size.
