Should I join the Army Reserves (occupational)?

I think the main thing you need to decide here is, are you ready to fight for your country. A lot of people go into the reserves to improve their life but rarely think they will ever actually be called up to serve and you can be. Truth is you are a reserve, as in if they need you to go somewhere you have to go, that is what they are paying for, you to be on call 24/7 for your country. Even if they can guarantee you will be inside a building, are you ok with where that building might be? If you are proud to serve your country and willing to be called if/when the time comes, then being recruited to help with your education and future is a good choice, but don't choose it just for that hoping you never see active duty.
