Getting a car without plates to VT DMV for VIN visual inspection?

You should be able to get some sort of Temporary Tag/Plate good for 10 days or so, or a "transit" tag. Call an insurance agent. They know about that junk. You're gonna have to buy the insurance anyway. And you won't be able to get ANY sort of tag for the car until you can show proof of f****** insurance.
