I saw my boyfriend get beat up, i don't know what to do?

He got beat up by this guy, because the guy was being mean to me. He was calling me names then he grabbed me and threw me on the ground, so i got up and punched him and he got mad then hit me to the ground, so my boyfriend pushed him away from me. he then punched the guy twice and then was punching again and the guy grabbed his fist and then elbowed kyle ( my boyfriend) to the ground and started kicking him until he was crying, so i ran up to the guy and pushed him and punched him again then he just shoved me to the ground and walked away. i went and sat by kyle but he just walked away and he hasn't talked to me since, what should i do?
