How do you appeal a finalized Wisconsin divorce?

My friend is incarcerated for making a mistake. He will be out Nov. 19 next year and in a halfway house in July before that. He was just informed that his divorce was finalized even though he wasn't there and had tried to stay informed about it, but they had basically gone on without him. Everything was taken from him. The kids (he may not have unsupervised visits), the house, the two cars, he has to pay 1240/month in child support even though he doesn't have a job and will never be able to obtain the job he had because of this charge he has, and she took his retirement. He is completely defeated to say the least. Looking to help him out and find some way to appeal and get a little of his life back. Just wondering if ANYONE can help!
