I can't finalize my mini-DVD?

I have a Canon DC330, and I'm using DVD-RW discs. I need to finalize the disc I filmed on because it's the only way I can get the videos onto my computer (Finalizing the disc, burning it, and then converting the files). However, it won't let me finalize the disc. I have no idea why. Any ideas on how to get it to let me?

I am traveling overseas, and was wondering what the airport regulations and/or routine will be like?

I am in the United States presently and will soon be traveling to South Africa, and, later, London, England. I'm mildly worried as to whether or not the airport routine and/or rules will be different. Should i or Should i not?

Assuming that it's not against the rules to have someone else do the work for you and you trust this guy to provide decent work on time, I'd go ahead and pay. I know in an ideal world, you'd want to do the work yourself, but better to know your limits and do the best job you can while maintaining your sanity than to push yourself too far and not end up doing everything to your standards because it turns out you don't have the time or the energy after all.

Why does everyone forget about me?

Literally everyone... My friends always say "we should hang out", but they never really care if we do. My friend suggested we hang out today but she never finalized the plans so that didn't work out. I even had a job interview today at 3:30, but the manager forgot about me and clocked out early. It's ridiculous. People I know and people I don't know just forget about me and it sucks.
