Windows 7 installation problems?

When I first bought windows 7 home premium OEM version, It started great then every thing started going weird. As soon as I get to expanding windows files, It started going really slow and freezes on some numbers for as long as 30 minutes. It finally finished. I started getting it configured. It took 20 minutes to confirm the product key. When it got to the screen saying "Windows is finalizing your settings", It showed a blank screen and I needed to restart. I tried to repair but It did nothing. I'm re installing It right now. Any help? I ran the upgrade advisor and I met the minimum requirements.
