Deleting +RW recordings?

I am having to return my recently purchased LG DVD recorder as it is faulty. I know that I must finalize recordings made onto +R discs before I return it. However, I am wondering about the temporary recordings I have made onto +RW discs. Will I be able to delete these using another DVD recorder, or can they only be deleted on the machine on which they were made?
